China International Fund Invests in Shandong
Jiang Yikang, the secretary of the provincial Party committee, led a delegation with thousand members of 17 Shandong cities’ heads at the ceremony, along with senior officials and business leaders from the Hong Kong Trade Development Council and major Hong Kong-based companies.
A total of 72 major deals with investments grossing more than hundred billion HK$ (US$13.8 billion) were agreed as a grand ceremony for the 2011 Shandong-Hong Kong Trade and Investment Week was held in Hong Kong on May 12. 

Madam Lo Fong Hong, Chairlady of China International Fund Limited (CIF) attended the 2011 Shandong-Hong Kong Trade and Investment Week. Agreement of Cotton Storage and Processing Project cooperated between CIF and the Comprehensive Free Trade Zone in Weifang, Shandong was signed. It is one of the major projects in this Trade and Investment Week. CIF is expected to imports 1 million tons cotton per annum from Weifang in Shandong.
